The Society of Second Chances, a story creatively crafted by Deborah Raney, is heartwarming and makes you think outside the box.

Rachel, Helen, Jennifer and Evelyn, four strangers thrown together by an anonymous benefactor. They have been chosen to be the Society of Second Chances. Four envelopes each containing an amount of money to be used to help a young woman getting out of prison. When the letter of the assignment is read, it affects one of the women. 

This story is good, clean with a hint of mystery. Looking forward to the next installment and the connection that ties them together.

Can you guess what time of year it is? 

Yep it the Miles of Pillowcase Smile campaign. 

I started these and have been working them in assembly line manner. Cut them all out, fold and pin, do the sewing, serge, then press.

Have you been making pillowcases? The best tutorial I've found is from Missouri Star Quilt company. Jenny Doan makes it looks so easy and it comes together quickly.
