Honk, Honk, Honk

I have to admit, this "Fit to Be Geese" ruler is a pretty neat tool.

You basically line up your geese with the lines and cut.

Hopefully it will all go together straight.

Works in progress :-)

  3. I sewed my geese together today. I used the instructions Carrie gave in the pattern and couldn't believe how easy everything went together!

  6. I haven't heard of this ruler before but it looks pretty easy to use. I have Eleanor Burns' rulers for flying geese but haven't used them yet. What sizes does your ruler make?

  10. Cool looking tool. I make my 'geese' with the sqs then cut off corners.
Love your colors too!!! Can't wait to see what you are making!
I wish I had known you were at MJ's I would have made a run down! I think I will try to do one in Nov.
Speaking of geese we are near a local landing spot, a pond behind us..they are in and out a lot now, making noise. Got where they do not leave the area anymore and really can cause problems with a lot of air traffic here.

  16. Come fly with me, Come fly, Let's fly away!

that is a wonderful ruler, and it even adds just the right seam allowance, that's where I get mixed up!

  17. I have no idea what any of that is, but it looks neat. I'm actually signed up for my first sewing class in 20 years in a few weeks, I figure its time to try it again, and maybe this time what I learn will stick.

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog. I'm going to continue to peruse through yours, and I'm sure I'll return. Good day to ya!
