Cindy Lou ----- Who????

Boy this Schnibbles is about to do me in!!! The 2" pieces are like rabbits. But they are not multiplying. I have to cut, cut, cut them out...............

This is what my floor looks like today -

And Yes I had to number all of my blocks, because knowing me I would have gotten them out of order. And NO the Grinch did NOT return my block, so I had to make another one. And even the extra 2" squares that make up the star. He must have really liked the fabric.

Five more days! Will I make it?? Hummm....... whoooooo knows! We will just have to see...........

  1. Hmmm...I think the schnibbles would have me sniveling! It sure looks like a lot to keep track of and having that block stealing grinch around doesn't make it sound any easier!

  3. You'll get it done. I did and now that it's finished, I love it. With this pattern, you really have to concentrate on what goes where.

  4. Step carefully, you don't want to hurt Cindy Lou Who or she'll scream OUCH!!

Congrats on your Objects of Desire Jelly Roll Win. I just ordered a pattern from "Pieces From My Heart" by Sandy Gervais which uses the Objects of Desire jelly roll that she also created. The name of the pattern is "Spoolin" Around"

  5. Oh, my GOSH! I wish I could come over and help you! But I have faith...you'll get it done...you might not sleep til then, but you'll get it done! Sorry you had to make another one...little pieces of fabric or paper do seem to disappear...they sprout feet and walk away on their own! Your quilt will be absolutely beautiful...to think you have all those little pieces of paper sitting on top with the block number...praying they don't get stolen, too!

    God bless,
    Mary

  9. I really like the way you have numbered your blocks! I wish I had done that when I laid out my dutch doll top, now I will have to go back and restructure it, and I will use your idea to do it. Thanks!

  12. Looks great so far. I love your fabric choices. You say you had to remake a block, what happened with that? I did the same thing as you layed the quilt out with the squares on top and made my snowballs. I think you will get it done before Sunday.
