  1. I have taken pictures of buildings with specialized brick work on them, the back of restaurant booths and washroom walls.

  3. I have taken pictures of carpets and floors. Shop windows for color combinations. Sunsets for the colors. You just never know what will strike your fancy.

  4. I find inspiration in patterns on decorative antique bowls and in parkay (sp) wood floors. So much inspiration...so little time :0)

  5. When we lived overseas I would love taking snap shots of doors, floors, ceilings etc...I would see quilting everywhere. It drove the family crazy. Hee!!

  6. I need to be more open about what's around me, great pictures, a wonderful reminder that art is everywhere, if we choose to see it.
    Thanks!

  8. I can well remember the first time I took notice of flooring and remarked to my quilting buddy-hey would you look at this pattern.
    I always notice them now.
    Have a great week.

  9. You have captured some lovely patterns or textures to use in your quilting. I take these kinds of photos too and have a pretty large file of them. If nothing else ever comes of it, at least it encourages me to really look around me and "see."

  10. Of course they are! I always get made fun of because I take pictures of things like that when I'm traveling and not the "normal" stuff!
