You all were so generous with your very sweet compliments about my first Mug Rug. I really don't think I have much original creativity. These little Mug Rugs are just too fun and are fast to do.
However, I do have to say that I really like this new Mug Rug. It was so much fun to make. So may I present to you -
Peace on Earth
And yes the cookies are just for staging :-)
So tell me, will you be making any Mug Rugs this Christmas??
May your day be filled with Happy Quilting!
Yes! I've decided to make mug rugs for teacher gifts. I finished my last swap project last night, so will be starting on the mug rugs this weekend. I love your Peace on Earth rug!
ReplyDeleteOh I would love to make some. Is there a tutorial? I LOVE this one!
ReplyDeleteI'll be making some coasters/mug rugs. They make such nice little hostess gifts
ReplyDeleteWhat a darling mug rug. I've been making some but now want to try something like this. Very clever design.
ReplyDeleteI made one last night, just need to finish the binding on it...they are quite the rage. I hope my pay if forward person will like it. I'm sending a mug rug along with two other little goodies!
ReplyDeleteI want to make a mug rug. Maybe I will take a little time to do just that.

I love your little mug rug!
ReplyDeleteI wish I could make mug rugs for Christmas! It's too late for me to start now but what a great idea for next Christmas! Today's rug is very sweet and looks just like something I would make:) Great job!
ReplyDeleteI like the Mug Rug you made! And, yes I've been making mug rugs, I've posted a picture of one of them, they are all Christmas gifts!
ReplyDeleteIt's very cute! No mug rugs here - too many irons in the fire.
ReplyDeleteThat is precious, Jocelyn. Those mug rugs seem to be the "it" thing right now and I am planning on making a few. I think they would be really nice little gifts paired with a nice mug and a tin of cookies!

So Cute! -- I've never heard of a mug rug, but I'll be making some....Not for Christmas, but definitely for winter birthdays!
ReplyDeleteLove it! Love the embroidery! Yes, I am thinking about making some 'rugs' this season. Cute gift idea!
ReplyDeleteCUTE!!!! I love that one!
ReplyDeleteVery cute. I also love your mug rug with the yummy oreo cookies. How long did they last after you took the photo? LOL! They would last long with me.

Yes, yes, and yes! Yes this is too cute, yes you are talking me into trying this out, and yes... make more!! I also enjoy your cookie staging!
ReplyDeleteI am not familiar with the Mug Rugs. From the looks of yours, they would be nice to have.
ReplyDeleteThis is great! I think next time I'm playing in my sewing room I might try a mug rug.
ReplyDeleteMe thinks you are only making the "mug rugs" so you can justify "eating" the props for the display!!!! I like both of them--you can sent me either one--with cookies in tact--of course!!!

ReplyDeleteI really like the rug in this post! I have seen these popping up all over blog land....should make some myself :)
