We are enjoying warmer days here in the deep south. And with it comes color!
Take a walk with me around my neighborhood.
Trees are starting to bloom.
A closer look.
What a beautiful sky
Oh and look........
the azaleas are starting to bloom at my house
Come on Spring, I'm ready for you!
Happy Quilting!
Thanks for the color. Here in Michigan we still have snow. But that didn't stop the robins from returning. Hugs
ReplyDeleteThanks for the stroll.....we are covered in snow in Maine, so I'll take all the blooming azaleas I can get right now! 10 degrees....I'm not even leaving the house today! lol
ReplyDeleteLovely! Things are "waking up" here, too, and I'm hoping that we don't suddenly have some really cold weather to nip the pretty blooms. My blueberry bushes are budding out, and they are so easy to get harmed by a late frost! Crossing my fingers! Thanks for the beautiful pictures - you live in a lovely place!

We still have lots of snow here in Minnesota too - at least another month and a half until anything starts to bloom... so thanks for the virtual stroll! It was a nice break from what's going on outside!
ReplyDeleteI just scrolled down to your scrappy cards tutorials....oh, I'm so glad I did! I love that idea, and I certainly will use it on my Christmas cards this year. Thanks so much for a great tut, and wonderful pix and details!

ReplyDeleteI love spring... trees are starting to bloom here but no azaleas yet... am enjoying the camelias tho...
ReplyDeleteYour photos offer me hope...we're still buried in snow here!
ReplyDeleteI am so jealous of you! In MI we still have snow on the ground, though it's going away. We are far from trees blooming here. I am soooo ready for spring! :-) Good for you for seeing the signs already and for giving the rest of us hope!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! Enjoy :-)
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! Our jonquils and forsythia are blooming, now.
ReplyDeleteOh what BEAUTIFUL photos! Thank you for sharing. I love the south (and would have retired there if it were for the 4 little ones who NEED their Nana! LOL).
ReplyDeleteHI there, I love seeing your azaleas and signs of spring. I'm so very ready but we have several more months of winter yet so I won't start anything for awhile. Love your header as well. I miss our azaleas from Ca. and some of our other beautiful plants.
ReplyDeleteHugs today. Noreen

Thank you for taking us along on your walk. I think we are all ready for spring. The snow here is finally melting, hopefully all will be gone by the end of the week.
ReplyDeleteWe have lots of color here too. I love it. Today it is pouring rain. I tried to leave a comment on this post the other day but blogger would not let me.
