JOY

I am trying to get as much Christmas sewing done as possible. So these little quilties were next on the I bought the pattern and frame at Paducah this year and was determined to make it for this Christmas.

I made one slight change to the pattern. The "O" was supposed to be an ornament hanging from the top of the "Y" but I just liked it plain. And I wasn't quite sure how much quilting to do, so it was minimal. I would love to find more patterns to use with the frame. It would be fun to change it out for different seasons.

How are you doing with your Christmas sewing??

Today is the last day to sign up for my Blog Hop Party giveaway. I finally made it through the whole list. Busy days ;-)

  2. I love this.....JOY looks great!

You could do 'BOO' at Halloween, initials for birthdays, hearts with your initials in them for Valentine's Day......there is so much you could do with these! I love this! I will be looking for this stand next time I'm at a big show or shop. Thanks!

  4. You managed to put the joy in joy! It turned out absolutely lovely. I am taking a quick break from the studio. Being the avid procrastinator that I am I will most likely be stitching until the last minute.... oh my.

  16. I know I am late commenting but just wanted you to know that you can find patterns for that triple frame set up at www.quiltricks.com I also have this combo frame and two patterns for it.I have the Joy one like you and I have one called Magic's Harvest which is Fall related with pumpkins, tree, leaves, moon, and a black cat. There are a number of others for different seasons. I am contemplating the snowmen pattern.
