Finished!! Well almost :-)
I was finishing up this wall hanging last night and I dropped the needle as I was putting the last yo-yo's and buttons on! And you know of course I could not find another needle anywhere.
I found these cute buttons last year and knew that I could use them on some project.
I will check my sewing box again and hopefully get this wall hanging up by tonight.
A big party at my house :-D

ReplyDeleteYour X-mas tree quilt looks fantastic. I love how you used yo-yos and the "Noel" buttons. I always lose my needles while working and, unfortunately, my husband always finds them...sometimes by sitting on them. Ooops!
ReplyDeleteThat is a great finish! I love yo yos. I invite you to link up to Finished for Friday on my blog.
ReplyDeleteNice work! I love the way the different quilting on the tree and background really makes the tree stand out!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I hope you found your needle - "See pin pick it up, all day you'll have good luck"! Have a lovely weekend!

ReplyDeleteI just love this project. Thanks for linking up.
ReplyDeleteI really like your tree project, certainly not the same as everyone else, did you come up with the pattern yourself?
ReplyDeleteOMG I just love this..simple, full of detail, imagination and well, perfect....I am going to pin you today..I think many would love to see it too...oh my sew darn cute..I have a thing for trees.
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful. I have to laugh at your needle dilema. The other night I was in bed binding a quilt and watching TV. Did I not break a thread, and flip the needle off it. I could not find that blasted needle anywhere. My worst fear was that hubby would roll over on it in the middle of the night and kill me. So I completely stripped the bed and remade it, drug out the vacuum at 10:30pm and vacuumed the room. It finally showed its ugly head. Whew I saved myself, and hubby is still trying to figure out just why I felt the need to vacuum in the middle of the night!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous!!!! I just love your tree!!
ReplyDeleteA super tree, the buttons really set it of.
ReplyDeletehappy days.
