When I restarted on this quilt.....
I found that I still had quite a few blocks that were cut but not put together. It looked like there was enough to make something.
Soooooo..........
I started putting the squares together and came up with this little doll quilt!
Yay!! Still need binding, but I love it! Do you make doll quilts??
Yes, I do make dolly quilts. They are fun, fast and a great way to try new techniques without commenting to a big quilt. =)
ReplyDeleteI'm making my second doll quilt in a week! I finished one for my great niece and am using the same design and pattern for a little swap. Yours turned out very cute Jocelyn!
ReplyDeleteHow darling!!! Yes, I love to make small quilts, but applique, lol. My piecing doesn't improve as the blocks get smaller. *G*
ReplyDeleteHow cute. I love it. Hugs
ReplyDeleteLove it!
ReplyDeleteYes...My Dad used to tease that if I'd sew'em all
together I'd have a "quilt"! Ha!
He thinks it should be used on a bed...yes dad a dolly bed! :)
Blessings~

Yes! Love doll quilts. This one is so sweet. You might enjoy our swap at http://dollquilters.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteReally cute one. How big is it irl? Looks like its about 26¨ x 38¨? Or is it smaller/larger?
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet little quilt! I have 2 daughters so I have made about a trillion doll quilts. (OK, maybe only a million.)
ReplyDeleteI tend to make "cuddle size" quilts the most (for my daughters, their friends, etc) and if I'm feeling super ambitious, I make a matching doll quilt with the leftovers. That seems to be a huge hit with little girls... one for them and one for their baby.
It's beautiful. Well done.
ReplyDeleteLove it! I have made a few. It's a great way to use up scraps & have fast finishes!
ReplyDeleteLove both quilts!
ReplyDeleteOh, I do love to make doll quilts, and yours is darling!
ReplyDeleteWhoop! Whoop! so cute doll quilt...but what does one do with doll quilts when there aren't any little girls or boys in the family?
ReplyDeleteWhat a darling doll quilt! I just recently began making doll quilts and am really enjoying it.
ReplyDeleteI love your little doll quilt! I definitely like to make small quilts. :0)
ReplyDeleteI have never made a doll quilt but that is very cute!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, it's so tiny! I'm afraid I don't really have time to make tiny quilts, but I certainly admire those who do!! Whoop whoop!!
ReplyDeleteVERY cute! I haven't made doll quilts in years but...I'm SURE I can find a little girl in need! Whoop Whoop...also if you are still looking for the pattern it's Crackerbox from Eleanor Burns.
