I too love seeing the needle go up and down--just never thought of phrasing it that way! Love your simple but beautiful blue and yellow quilt. What is it about blue and yellow that inspires so many of over and over again?
You know well that I can't sew a lick, but will enjoy watching our Tatiana sewing on the machine I bought her.
Your quilt fabrics & colors are gorgeous Jocelyn.
Sorry I have been remiss in visiting, but summer has been swamped with both business & family this year. Stay with me, I'll be back more soon. TTFN ~ Hugs, Marydon
I always loved yellow with light gray and this quilt is going to be gorgeous!! Thank you for your sweet and kind comments for my cloches. Have a great week. FABBY
Hi Jocelyn! I know it's been forever since I've visited you, but my friend was finally able to go back home and be on her own, so I've got my life back to myself and I'm trying to catch up with what my blog friends are up to!
Love, love, love those yellow and gray fabrics. I think that combination is so striking. I just made a purse this past weekend in yellow, gray, and white. I'll be posting it tomorrow!
So glad to be back in blog land...have a wonderful week and I'll "see" you again soon!
Love this piece...You should talk about it more. What's your favorite way of making the four-triangle squares? How big are the blocks... What's your vision for hte piece...? Love it. Great color combo...
Never considered a combo of yellow and gray...but it's beautiful.
