Well friends and neighbors, here it is! The vintage feed sack blocks put together.

Whaddayathink?? Can I get a Whoop Whoop? I think it looks pretty cool.
I've decided to back it with unbleached muslin. Not sure about binding yet, but I'm sure I will find something.

ReplyDeleteThis is wonderful..can't beat the look and feel of a feed sack quilt. It would look great tied also..makes me think of my precious grandmother.
ReplyDeleteTurned out great. Don't forget to label the back of the quilt with where you got the blocks. At least with muslin, you don't have to make another label, you can just write on the back.

When I tell people that they look at me like I wore burlap!! Thank you for showing everyone what beautiful fabrics feed sacks were made of--and what an amazing quilt. XOXO
