Christmas projects??




Have you been working on Christmas projects??  I tend to be one who puts off holiday sewing until pretty late in the season.

This table topper was started a couple of years ago, but I have purposed to get it finished so I can use it this Christmas.


It's a pattern from Anka's Treasures.

 The instructions are not clear on how to add the border for this shape, but I will do the best I can.

The holidays are fast approaching!

    Wow...those are beautiful! No I'm not working on Christmas....it isn't the 20th of December yet...LOL.

    Wow is that gorgeous - but tricky!!! I usually don't start sewing for Christmas until October, yikes.

    Very cute Christmas table topper... really like the unusual shape. Isn't it nice to finish a project that has been hanging around for a while?

    I have made that one and love it.!I am a slow starter as well.hard for me to sew out of season. whay? I play in the moment love your blog!

    That log cabin reminds me of a Christmas quilt that I started 20 years ago! Maybe I'll break it out and finish it!!

    Oh Jocelyn! The C'mas quilt is to die for, wow! Wish I could make one, or even buy one for C'mas around here, but nothing like that around..I do wish I learned though. Thanks for dropping by, I really missed you guys, it feels I've been away for so long! Hugs,

    How wonderful to be on top of those UFO Christmas quilts! I am trying to do that myself this year. So far I have a table runner I need to finish. I figure a Christmas project every year will work and by the time I am a Grandma I will have a home full of beautiful Christmas handmade decorations!

    Great piece. I have a table topper I pieced last year but didn't get quilted. Have I done it in the 9 months since Christmas? No! Thanks for the reminder to get on it.
