I kind of like binding - if for no other reason than it means that I'll soon have a quilt to use or gift and that I'll be able to start another quilt! Seriously, binding is not a favorite part, but I "tolerate" it by focusing on those two up-sides. ;-)
I like to attach the bindings - it means that the quilt is ready soon!! :)) Once a quilter said that she didn't like to baste a quilt, but then she focused on the individual patches of fabric it allowed her to see again and now basting is much more attractive and less annoying. So, I do the same, and during the binding process, too. Best wishes!
I don't mind the hand stitching part, but I really don't like sewing the binding down by machine on large quilts. They are so heavy and bulky to work with.

ReplyDeleteThis is why I do machine binding on all of my quilts! I just want them to be finished! :0)

ReplyDeleteI like binding as it know once it's sewn on I have another quilt done. I detest pinning!!
ReplyDeleteReally, you don't like it? It's my favorite part, lol! It means I'm almost done! Then I can start the next 20 projects I have lined up...
ReplyDeleteI love the little clips! What handy little tools they are!!
