Thrift store shopping can sometimes unearth quilting treasures. Browsing in the craft section, I came across
no less then 50 quilting books. Now this was
looking like a party ready to happen!
I came away with 10 quilting books and a couple of patterns. All for $10!!!
When I looked at this book -
it was very familiar. As I turned the pages, I realized why.
My version of these patterns.
Although
I did not own this book, I had made these patterns with a couple of my
quilting buddies. It's a great book, and I know I will enjoy making
more. Like this one.............
It's definitely on my bucket list :-)
Happy Quilting!
We should be so lucky as to have a thrift store like yours! You scored some treasures.
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice find. Hugs
ReplyDeleteGreat quilts! I buy all of my quilting, gardening and crafting books are the Goodwill. There is almost always one or two on the shelf that look interesting and I've had my fill of paying $20 to $30 for a book on ideas at the bookstore. Sorry, but not on my budget. I'll just let others buy them and then when they tire of them, I'll pick them up at a bargain :)
ReplyDeleteSeniors must save where they can.
Connie :)
I have that book - a keeper. What a nice find - especially that Kaffee Fassett book.
