Sometimes taking on a project with little pieces can be intimidating. This pattern called for cutting out hundreds of 2 1/2" squares. I opted to sew two strips together and cut them apart, alternating some of the fabrics as I went along.
Now to work on the borders.
Cute quilt, very summery.

Simple and cute! Solid borders?
ReplyDeleteWhoop Whoop. Great job. That would be a great project for larger squares too.

So sweet! This would make a great pattern for our ministry's baby quilts. And I just "happen" to have a bunch of leftover 4-patches.
ReplyDeleteThat is just gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteSewing in strips is the way to go. Looking nice.
ReplyDeleteVery cute!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty!!! The fabrics look vintage (small prints, soft colors). It will be a soft cuddly quilt for sure.
ReplyDeleteI really like your use of 4-Patch blocks for the background of your quilt. Scrappy looking from start to finish. LOVE!!
ReplyDeleteLovely progress. So many pieces so patience is needed. Looking good.
ReplyDeleteWhoop! Whoop! Nice idea and very manageable.
ReplyDeleteI like the look of it - to change up the postage stamp quilt with four patches.
