Here is the progress on the quilt top made from these
turning the bias down
and it turns out like this!
And because I changed my mind mid stream about color way, I ended up with three extra blocks, so it looks like I will also be making a matching table runner!

Happy Quilting!
Beautiful! I love the colors you used to create your quilt and table runner.
ReplyDeleteGreat blocks! I really love that red fabric you are using.
ReplyDeleteI have been preparing the first block for Friends of Baltimore. It is going to keep me busy for a while!
I want so much to go and do more of these quilts but I have other things to do .... you are so tempting me. I do not pin, I iron them down and so when I go to sew, I just use my finger and it works great that way. Alot less time consuming.
ReplyDeleteI love this! Great job!
ReplyDeleteThese really look great! I love the tablerunner! :0)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful colors and fantastic quilt... cool way to use the extra blocks!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great look!
ReplyDeleteI love a new method and I am enjoying your little teases :)It looks like chocolates and cherries!
ReplyDeleteThat's just lovely! A very striking design. On my sewing table - what sewing table - it's so covered with projects I can't find it!
ReplyDeleteThis looks beautiful, I love the colours. I have used the same technique to make curved flying geese blocks for a border, but never put it in a big quilt.
ReplyDeleteOooo I love both of them!! Your change of heart was perfect :0)
ReplyDeleteCrispy
Bea-u-ti-ful...dahling!
ReplyDeleteI love it. I was just looking at something like this in a new quilting magazine at the grocery store today, and thinking of trying it. You did a wonderful job, and you have a wonderful blog. I just started my new blog, Ric Rac and Polka Dots. I would love it if you would come visit. I'm just starting out, but I have lots of really fun things planned to share with everyone! Hope to see you soon, and keep quilting!
