The Wonder block

Here is the progress on the quilt top made from these

turning the bias down

and it turns out like this!

And because I changed my mind mid stream about color way, I ended up with three extra blocks, so it looks like I will also be making a matching table runner!

So what's in the works on your sewing table??

Be sure to check out amylouwho's Sew & Tell.

Happy Quilting!

  3. I want so much to go and do more of these quilts but I have other things to do .... you are so tempting me. I do not pin, I iron them down and so when I go to sew, I just use my finger and it works great that way. Alot less time consuming.

  8. This looks beautiful, I love the colours. I have used the same technique to make curved flying geese blocks for a border, but never put it in a big quilt.

  10. I love it. I was just looking at something like this in a new quilting magazine at the grocery store today, and thinking of trying it. You did a wonderful job, and you have a wonderful blog. I just started my new blog, Ric Rac and Polka Dots. I would love it if you would come visit. I'm just starting out, but I have lots of really fun things planned to share with everyone! Hope to see you soon, and keep quilting!
