Fall is in the air

I love to see homes decorated for the seasons. One of my biggest problems, living in the deep south, has been decorating for fall. When the temps are still in the 90's and flowers are still blooming, it's hard to wrap your mind around fall leaves and cool breezes.

Well today I thought I would start to put out a few autumn colored things. Most are packed away in a box marked "FALL", so dear hubby will have to search for that box. I found a table runner and a couple of candles.

But oh,oh! It looks like I have a few quilts that need to be quilted ;-) Guess I will be doing some sandwiching.

I do love the warm colors of fall. These are the only leaves that will turn color around here!

As we say down here in the South -

Happy Fall Ya'll.

I love all of your Fall quilts. I guess I better start thinking of pulling out the boxes too. Wow! I can't believe October is quickly approaching.

Fall might be approaching but I am not ready to leave summer yet. You get some practice done and free motion quilt those quilts.

I love your fall quilts and table runner. Sooo pretty! I think I will do some fall decorating today too. I have some pretty apple branches that make a nice transistion from summer to fall. Have a great day and I enjoyed your post very much.

How beautiful -- I love the colors! I picked up some fall fabrics over the weekend; can't wait to use them! Our leaves are already turning brown and covering the ground; you're welcome to some of mine! I love fall!

As soon as the workers have finished with our repairs from the fallen tree, I will dig out fall runners and decorate for fall. (Of course, this will be after all the dust has been cleaned out of this place....and there is a LOT from all the construction.) Your fall pieces are very nice!

I too am in that frame of mind! Pulled some things from the cedar chest.
More to do though.
Changed my blog header too.
For some reason though can not get my blog list links to change colors! uggh!!

Ooooo, I'm a collector of sewing machines, too. If I see one at a tag sale or on the side of the road I must have it. I even had to have a little Featherweight which I bought at a quilt show. I have used it all of ONE TIME in two years. It looks pretty, ha ha. Take care, Linda

We have a fall chill in the air in the morning and at night. I can't wait...autumn is my favorite time of year. I decorated this weekend, but I don't have any fall quilts. Need to fix that. Yours are beautiful and such rich colors. Good luck quilting them.

That's just what I needed....a nudge to get my fall stuff out.....which I don't have much of. Love your pretty things....

The table runner is so pretty, and I love the look of your quilts! I love autumn colors too - the only part I don't like is how aggressive the bees get. I do love the crisp fall air and the leaves changing.

I love the changing of the seasons too but could see that it would be hard down south LOL. We northerners will try to send you some of our cool breezes :0)
