Honk, Honk, Honk

I have to admit, this "Fit to Be Geese" ruler is a pretty neat tool.

You basically line up your geese with the lines and cut.

Hopefully it will all go together straight.

Works in progress :-)

Well I am impressed. This is so neat. I am about to die to sew but just cannot find the time. I am going to find some time soon.

I sewed my geese together today. I used the instructions Carrie gave in the pattern and couldn't believe how easy everything went together!

I have never tried a flying geese project. Maybe with that handy dandy ruler, I'll give it a try. Yours look great.

That looks like you could make a lot of geese fast. What is the size of your geese?

I haven't heard of this ruler before but it looks pretty easy to use. I have Eleanor Burns' rulers for flying geese but haven't used them yet. What sizes does your ruler make?

That looks like a nice tool. I like the Flying Geese design but am almost certain that I could never get them to all line up perfectly! Is this going to be a Christmas/winter quilt? I see holly...

Cool looking tool. I make my 'geese' with the sqs then cut off corners.
Love your colors too!!! Can't wait to see what you are making!
I wish I had known you were at MJ's I would have made a run down! I think I will try to do one in Nov.
Speaking of geese we are near a local landing spot, a pond behind us..they are in and out a lot now, making noise. Got where they do not leave the area anymore and really can cause problems with a lot of air traffic here.

It seems like making Flying Geese with this tool is much more accurate and also much more fun! They look pretty!

Come fly with me, Come fly, Let's fly away!

that is a wonderful ruler, and it even adds just the right seam allowance, that's where I get mixed up!

I have no idea what any of that is, but it looks neat. I'm actually signed up for my first sewing class in 20 years in a few weeks, I figure its time to try it again, and maybe this time what I learn will stick.

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog. I'm going to continue to peruse through yours, and I'm sure I'll return. Good day to ya!
