Whoo-hoo, guess what came in today's mail!! Yep, the fabric I ordered from cottoncharm.com.
But the package sure looks like it has been through a war zone -
The package must have traveled at the speed of light..............
Thank you Cotton Charm girls for wrapping my fabric order in plastic. There is no telling what might have happened otherwise.
So now I have the fabric that I need for the Schnibbles, and I bought this ruler yesterday to make those ever wonky Flying Geese.
Geese ARE supposed to fly in formation, right?? Just to be sure, there is a great tutorial on using this ruler on Carrie Nelson's blog.
Guess I had better get busy :-)
Have a great quilting weekend!

So glad you got everything...she was smart to pack it all in plastic.
Have to appreciate a good quilt shop to order from. I know you're thankful everything got to you in good shape.
Glad your fabric arrived safely. I hate to think what would have happened to it if it had not been wrapped in plastic.
My goodness, what did the post office do to that package? Don't you wish it could talk?Lucky you got it and the fabric was in good shape! That ruler looks like a nice one I will have to check that out.
I'll be wondering how well the ruler works...be sure to let us know!
WOW what a mess the good ol' post office made!! Thank goodness your package was well packed. Hey!! Where's the picture of the fabrics? LOL

I am glad you got your fabric in one piece. I am always pleased with how the quilt shops packed their parcels. Never lost or damaged coming to Australia - Enjoy Natima
Wow, what a mess! Glad it was carefully packaged. Is Schnibbles the pattern from Miss Rosie? One of the girls at the shop just did that quilt. Very nice.
Thank goodness Kelly packs in plastic - that package is awful, and no note from the post office apologizing for it. Sheesh. Glad you got your stuff and can get busy!
I have received packages like that, with china inside! You are a brave soul to take on the flying geese...I don't think I'll be good enough at quilting to tackle that...can't wait to see the finish!
God bless,
Mary
You were so lucky that she wrapped it in plastic and that everything came ok.

Wow, that package did travel through a war zone - I'm glad everything was intact when you opened it. I can't wait to hear how you like the ruler - I've been thinking about ordering it, as well.
Don't you just love to get packages in the mail! I'm glad it made it in one piece.
Boy thay sure beat that package all up....glad none was damaged....have fun stitching!
Hi Jocelyn, hope you had a great weekend sewing and that package went through a lot to get to you. The pattern of the fall quilt is in Amercan Patchwork 2003. Love to see it when you finish it.

It's good to know that they are fast and know what the post can be like!
I am looking forward to you wonky flying geese as it's my lessons coming from my teacher.
Looks like your package is a victim of a PO conveyor belt incident. I've had some torn and open packages delivered...everything FLIES through the system without much care it would seem ~ people trying to move the mail at the speed of light or lose their jobs!
