Do You EQ??

Well just when I get the EQ6, the fabulous Electric Quilt Company comes out with EQ7!!!

Hey, I have to be honest here, I am a novice when it comes to EQ. I have seen so many bloggers who create incredible quilts using the EQ computer software. But NOW you can get these features as well -

Quilts, Blocks and photos
Digital cameras will become a quilter's best friend. EQ7 has dozens of ways to turn everyday photos into quilt art images. Or crop and edit scanned fabrics right in EQ7 in minutes.

New Activation Policy
You'll never run out of EQ7 activations! Activation and deactivation is as easy as two clicks of the mouse. Install on as many computers as you like and quickly transfer activations from computer to computer. This new policy gives you complete freedom to manage your own activation.

I have EQ 5 (gift from hubby a few years back) and never learned to use it...was just going to START to learn to use it and maybe upgrade to EQ6 (if I was successful at learning 5) but now I'm not sure what to do.

I have EQ6 but don't use it. About a year ago I changed computers and never bothered to re-install. Occasionally I want to use it, but on the whole haven't felt it was worth the effort. Part of it is because that version only allowed 4 installs and then you were out of luck. Since I moved to a different used computer, I felt that it wouldn't last and I might be wasting an install and would only have 2 left. Rather dissappointing when I think about it now. At this point I am not looking at upgrading again as that install limit has left a bad taste in my mouth.

I love my EQ and use it all the time for designing quilts and blocks. I'm a bit nervous about EQ7 because of the cost.
