Where there are quilts, there is a Quilt show

Well at least we'd like for there to be one. With everyone running off to these incredible national Quilt shows, we who are left behind have to make our own. Right??

And of course there are always quilts for sale.

Sigh......... well if I am not able to go to Chicago, or Paducah or Knoxville, at least I can soak in the beauty here on the home front.

Happy Quilting!

Thank you for sharing such lovely quilts. Next time, would you mind sharing a picture of just the ceiling and letting us know where this is? Ohhh, how I love the designs in tin ceilings.

I also loved the ceiling in the one shot! It reminds me of living in England!!

ooooo, I love that one hanging on the rack with the red and bue stars and flying geese. That would be perfect for my Prairie Paisley fabric I've been hoarding!

I honestly prefer the quilts on the home front! I'm headed off to a local quilt show on Friday and I think I'm just as excited (or more) as I was when I went to the Lancaster show last month.

Such lovely quilts you've shared with us.
When my little mama was alive, we used to go to quilt shows in the area. She so loved to see them. She was a wonderful quilter and made many beautiful quilts before she passed away.
Quilts always make a warm fuzzy feeling for me because I can see her smiling face in every quilt.
Thanks for these precious memories...

You are so right, Jocelyn. I love the title of your post.

That basket quilt is absolutely adorable - I love the blue sashing in between.
