Oh how beautiful is your new home. I love it.
May you create many happy memories there.
drapes are hard with that kind of window...will you hang them to just cover the blinds? They would be pretty with a wrought iron rod and just pushed to the sides...hmmm. I see in the first two photos those swags? I'm not a fan of those, but maybe you are...
They left the china hutch? wow..that was nice of them..
http://cottagemagpie.com/ is a blog that used to decorate rooms for people... You send photos and she gives her insight... she helped me here

What a beautiful China hutch for the room. The window is so lovely the way it is, it would be a shame to cover it up too much. I do see the swag holders now, maybe a swag something in beige or neutral that's a soft touch to match your pretty area rug. You've done a beautiful job of decorating so far.
That is a lovely hutch to leave behind. It looks perfect with your table and chairs.
Wow, how fantastic that the former homeowners left you such a great piece of furniture. It really does work well with your dining table and chairs!
Wish I could give you some ideas, but my house is in the cottage style and that's just about all I know about decorating. I just kinda throw stuff together! :o| But I think you are doing a great job so far, Jocelyn!
XOXO,
Cyndi
It looks wonderful in the dining room!
Oh the hutch is glorious. You are going to have such a good time here.
What a great hutch and that room will be the location for many happy family dinners, I'm sure!
I think some big droopy curtains off your window in the dinning room will help soften it up. But what ever you do I am sure it will be lovely.
Very nice. I like the lighter rug and I love the plant. A house doesn't feel like a home without plants.
I really love your new home, and I am so proud for you! You are blessed to find such a lovely place!
Oooo the cabinet is beautiful and goes so well with your table and chairs.

Looks really nice!! I love how it's coming along! Nice hutch!!
G'day sweet Jocelyn ~ I know your pain re arbor ... I'd be sick, too.
Your home is gorgeous, Jocelyn, & the furniture is perfectly placed & fitting in the dining room. I love it.
We are still in a horrible heat wave, dripping in humidity ... flip me over, I am done on that side ...
Have a lovely summer's eve ~

Oh......I wish I had something like your house. You are making it looking good! :)
I think you should go for super drama curtains...but then again I am all about the fabric!
