On to Singapore

When my daughter returned from a month long trip to SE Asia this summer, one of her requests was for me to make something for the host family she stayed with in Singapore. On our way home from a family vacation, we stopped in at Peggy's Heirloom shop in Ocala and picked up some pretty batiks.

Do you remember when I made this Fiskars pattern back in the spring??

I love how it turned out, so I thought I would try it again, but with a little variation, using the darker blue as a highlight.

Do you have any projects in the works??

I love this pattern. I have a bag of cut out shapes that was my daughter's last project. She had cut them out to make her son a quilt, but before she could sew them, passed away. I am trying to bring myself to make it for him for Christmas; I was with her when she cut this out, so you can imagine how emotional it is, but you inspire me seeing your project. XOXO
