Living in central Florida, we have green almost year round. I thought about this picture as we were waiting and watching for Isaac to make his move. Thankfully we were spared, only receiving some well needed rain. This picture was taken at an outing and I loved the little children walking with the dog. If you click on the picture, you can enlarge it for a closer look.
A couple of years ago I was blog hopping and came across this tutorial. Now I am not very computer savvy, but my son helped me with the directions and I had to give it a try. The link does not work anymore, but I have written to the author to see if she can send me the correct link.
Thinking of those who are in the path of TS Isaac. Many of which have experienced the ravages of Katrina. Let's keep them all in our prayers.

I agree with Terry, a very cool effect.
grateful and so thankful you were spared this storm, and yes... we will keep them in our prayers.
HI ,I too live in central Fla~ Polk County , We are so glad Issac passed us by , the winds never did get very strong.
I would love to know where you live, have you ever been to Heartfelt Fabric & Quilt Shop in Winter Haven or Fabric Warehouse in Lakeland ?
What are your favorite places to shop.
Also do you ever enter your quilts in the local quilt shows ?
I would send you and e-mail but i could not find one .
How nifty!! I hope she responds to you so you can share!! I have family and friends in New Orleans and in the surrounding areas ... sure am continuing to pray for all those in the path! :)
