My daughter, along with a team of young people, are leaving in a couple of weeks to teach at the International School of Tomorrow in Moscow.
Making runs to Joann's for more supplies.
These young people give up their summers to teach all over the world. They have traveled to Australia, SE Asia and now to Russia.
And they do it all out of their own pockets. It's wonderful to hear about the good things young people are doing, and not only the bad the media dwells on.
I hope you are having a happy quilting day.

what a wonderful thing your daughter is involved in
The fact that your daughter is doing good, of her own accord, out of her own pocket, the bonus being that she learns different cultures and meets a wide variety of people, and ways of living is such a wonderful way to spend your youth!
Hope it is a wonderful trip for them! I know their students will be enriched.
Safe travels for the teachers!
How sweet & giving your daughter & her group are to do this mission. You must be very proud of her.
Hope your Mother's Day was filled with many joys.

Thanks to special people like your DD.
It's young people like that that give us hope. What a great thing they do.
My daughter in law just got back recently from teaching nursing in Vietnam.
Having had a husband that spend three tours of duty there many years ago..I admit it frightened me at first. I think it's a great thing those young people are doing!
What a wonderful group of young people!!
