Summertime blues

Yep, I've got them.  There have been things happening around here, but just not in the quilting department.  Sometimes life throws you a hard ball, and you swing and miss.

Today, however, I needed to drop off some donations at the local Thrift store.  So of course I had to take a little peek inside.  I sure was glad that I did.
You surely can't beat these prices.

The Short Cut ruler retails for about $25.  And the Borders Made Easy are around $15.  So I was very glad to pick these up.

I also stopped by Michaels, being that I have enjoyed making the dish cloths, and even found these on clearance.

Okay, okay, so I'm not quilting, but I am keeping my hands busy :-)

What have you been up to???

You certainly beat the blue's with your great buys. It is amazing what can be found in op shops.
Have fun making up that wool.

Happy days.
Bev.

I have one of those rulers (bought to cut fringe on fleece quilts years ago) but, I'm always forgetting that I have it and to use it. The border stuff looks interesting. Not sure if I've seen that before.

Busy hands keep a person sane. And at bargain prices, too.
