And now you know the end of the story

I finally got the last stitch in the binding, and delivered this quilt to my friend.

The very first thing she said when she opened it was, "did someone tell you my colors?"  Well no, I did not know her colors, but thought this was a good neutral.  When I looked around her house, the first thing I noticed were the black and white Toile curtains in her living room.  I was pretty happy that these colors worked well with her decor.

How sweet for you and your friend! It is a delightful quilt. My niece would love it too.She has the black toile and these colors in her bedroom! Is the the first larger quilt since hand/wrist surgery?

One of the most difficult challenges of making a quilt to give as a gift is selecting fabrics/colors and the fear that it will not go with the recipients' taste. I'm so glad that this quilt works perfectly in "her colors". Maybe guiding hands were with you along the way.
Beautiful quilt. I do so wish her good health. Positive thoughts and prayers going her way.

I liked the quilt a lot! The colors and the design as well. Is it possible to have the pattern of this quilt please ? Or otherwise how can we get it ?
