Strings

Whenever I trim the backing from my quilts, I always have these strips of fabric left over.

I used white for the last quilt I finished, so I thought it would be great to use these for the foundation for a String quilt.

I found an average size and cut up squares.

And before you know it, I've got a stack ready for stringing.

I just have to dig through my scrap drawer and start stringing.

:-)  Happy Quilting!

Hello Jocelyn,

Enjoy your string quilt. These quilts are always full of quilting memories. Plus you get to use up your leftovers.

Have a happy day.
Bev.

Wonderful idea, very clever, now I know what to do with mine. I did think about needle books but there's only so many you can make lol. Looking forward to seeing what you use them with :0)
