The unfinished gift

This is the quilt I was working on before I had my wrist surgery.

I was making it for a friend as Christmas present.

The quilting was all done. Just needed to bind it and ship it off.

Well that was all put on hold when I had my fall in early December.  But today I am digging around for the binding to finish it up.  I hope to see my friend next week.  I guess it will be an early Christmas present for this year :-)

What are you working on today??

What a beautiful quilt and gift for your friend! Love your quilting too.
I'm currently working on a lap quilt to give to my daughter for her birthday in Oct. I so love hand quilting, but it takes a long time.
Thanks for sharing-great job!

i love the variety of fabrics you used. I've been wanting to make one of these quilts :) along with about a 100 others lol.Right now I am #26 of the 42 grandmother's flower garden blocks I need.i think I might have to put them away until after Christmas or there won't be any christmas projects done!
