Enter the Tropics

I've been away again, traveling with my hubby. This time down to South Florida.  And even though I've lived in Florida for most of my life, going into South Florida is like entering the tropics.

This always blows me away. Park your boat right by your condo.

My hubby participated in a World event.

There were many countries represented.

England, Ireland, Italy, Norway, South Africa, Jamaica, and of course the USA!  It was an amazing weekend.

Lucky you! I was teaching my grands about estuaries last week ... which reminded me of southern Florida/the Everglades. Wow, I miss southern Florida!

Oohhh...my hubby will be envious when I tell him! Three cheers for yours - that's quite an accomplishment.

I have only seen a little bit of Florida, but would like to see me. Sounds like you had a fun getaway. I hope your husband enjoyed the Sporting Clays Championship.

Oh, hope we don't live in the same part of Florida!! I did live in Miami until 1972 when we moved to Gainesville (go Gators). I also quilt, collect tea cups and sewing machines. How cool is that. Starting to follow your blog.
