Augusta Quilt shop

On our recent travels, it was hard finding any quilt shops. Several that were listed ended up being closed.  But I did stop in at Branum's in Augusta Georgia. Under new ownership, the staff was so friendly and helpful.

This quilt was on display.

A Jelly Roll friendly pattern.

One that I think will take on an elegant look using Island Batik fabrics.

Be sure to visit Fiber and Feast today as Adele shares about her Summer in the Country design.

Enjoy a Happy Quilting day!

Looks like a fun quilt shop. And that quilt design looks like great fun too!

Sounds like you found a nice shop. Usually when DH and I travel, we're so anxious to get to our destination (our Happy Place) and then anxious to get back home to our favorite little family that we don't go too far off the beaten path. :-( We need to slow down a little and take a few side visits, including to some quilt shops!!

such a shame the shops were closed, wonder if it was for the day or had they shut down completely, here shops are closing down all the time the high streets look so falorn in some places, and so often we get pond stores etc in their place
