Sew Mama Sew Giveaway Day

giveawaydaydec92015

Welcome to the Sew Mama Sew Giveaway Day.  It's a huge Giveaway campaign to help find new (and old) blogs.  Each year hundreds of bloggers participate. If you are new to my blog, I hope you will take a look around, check out my tutorials and book reviews, and come back again.

This year I am giving away two quilting books that use fat quarters.

I love fat quarters and have a very nice collection of them. So to spice up the giveaway, I'm including four fat quarters to help get you started on a new project.

How to enter?  Leave a comment on this post to be entered. To participate, all you need to do is answer this question. Are you making handmade gifts for Christmas this year? And because I ♥ my Followers, Followers (old and new) may leave a SECOND comment letting me know how you follow.
Due to the rising cost of postal rates, this giveaway is for US readers only. You must have a way to be contacted. If the winner is a no-reply comment, it will not qualify and I will draw another winner.  Giveaway will close on Sunday December 11th.  Winners will be notified by email.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  If you are new, I hope you will visit again.  It's always fun to meet old friends and welcome new ones.

Happy Quilting!

I've been a follower for a while, but haven't stopped in for a while. I went backward to check out your latest news, and went to a few tutorials. Did you notice that the Snowman candy cover goes to the Keep your sewing machine clean tutorial?
I'm working on a Mimbulis Mimbulitonia table topper for my sis in law. She's a big Harry Potter fan. It's mostly red and green so it should work out for Christmas.

I make at least 1 Christmas quilt every year - for our office White Elephant Christmas party, where its eagerly watched for & passes back & forth several times before the last person keeps it. Last year I made 4 Christmas quilts for various family members. This years Christmas quilt is a Churn Dash and I've embroidered on the white blocks: love, family, peace, grace, faith, kindness, believe (with a small bell for the dotted "i"), twinkle (with a 'snowflake' sewn on and a very twinkly button in the middle), gratitude, fur babies, etc. I make quilts year round and give away 99% of them. After 40 years of quilting, my quilts are made most often from my scraps and I have a LOT of those, pre cut and ready to use. Deb, mdenders@msn.com

This year I decided to make a quilt for each of my 2 grown kids. I'm a rather new quilter, so this has taken me longer than I thought it would! My daughter's is finished, but I'm working frantically on my son's. The piecing was more intricate and I'm a bit too picky about those seams matching up!
