QAL, BOM, SAL...

Sew-A-Longs, Quilt-A-Longs, Block of the Month, Mystery Quilt Along, Calendar Quilt Along, Sewing for Christmas, Swaps.................

...............it goes on and on.

How do you DO it!!! I can hardly keep up with my sewing/quilting projects. PLUS regularly cooking and cleaning for my family!! It blows my mind with all the amazing quilters that get SO much accomplished!! Do  you add more hours to your day?
Have you seen the Canning Season Quilt Along at The Life of Hazel Ilene? I really would love to do this one.

Until then..................

It can be a bit overwhelming for sure. I'm trying to keep up with the ones I've joined in on, but only time will tell if I endure to the end!

That picture! Makes me laugh. But I know how you feel. There seems to always be something pulling me away from sewing. And we have to eat! And then someone has to clean up that mess. And it starts all over again at the next mealtime. And the dust bunnies, and farm chores, and laundry, and and and . . . and lets not forget paperwork -- bane of my existence! And there are so many quilt-alongs and sew-alongs to choose from on the internet, too! I wanna do them all! Waaa! I'm off to go try to quilt this afternoon. I wonder how many interruptions I'll have to deal with?

Oh goodness, I am still laughing. It is true...I think that's why I love quilt retreats. You can just leave it all behind and sew yourself silly.

there is so much temptation for BOMs etc but I am trying to be good and avoid them this year and catch up on some of my "I want to do" things that are on a long list. As I live at home on my own and very rarely get a visitor I have plenty of time to stitch fortunately, it helps to keep me somewhat sane

I'd need to clone myself 30 times to get everything done that I'd like to, lol....I don't know how quilters do it!! I do get more done when mum's not here, but still.

Normally I don't do much of this things. It's too time consuming. But now I'm joining a 2 SAL's and a CAL. But many projekts I just let go.
It's not only time, but my purse also...*Ü*....

The last year and this year I enjoy finishing projects... and I think that next year will be te same...*Ü*...

The QAL of Hazel is lovely... so I will file that and who knows...

I do exchange blocks, but, I've never sewn them into a quilt (yet). Most of my BOM's are just printed out. I'm usually behind in my QAL's, too.
