Sharpening the brain cells

Since my daughter has been in quarantine for Covid, I have been spending a lot of time outside. Finally getting things planted and enjoying the springtime sunshine before it gets too hot.

I've also been working on this....

I almost hate starting a new puzzle. I get discouraged too easily when I can't find pieces. And this one is sort of an impressionistic painting, which I won't be getting again. Still it's a nice way to pass the time.

I think you are doing quite well on your puzzle. One trick I learned from SIL, who is an avid puzzler, is she sorts all the pieces by color and then focuses on puzzle assembly by color. When she can't find a piece for a given color, she'll move to the next color. Hard to believe she has dementia and can no longer communicate, but is still so fast putting together 1,000+ pieced puzzles often in a single day. Not me. But they are a fun way to pass the time.

Looks like it will be a beautiful picture when it is done. Please post a picture whenever you do.

That is a lot of puzzle you have done so far.
