3 Million pillowcases

It's always fun to make pillowcases for Ryan's Case for Smiles.  I've started on some and have a few more to finish before taking them to the donation location.

Over 3 Million pillowcases have been donated to children in hospitals.

Good for you. Thanks for your generosity. I've made some with my guild in the past but now I'm focusing on making charity quilts. But I should think about pillowcases too... they would use up fabric pretty quickly if I have big enough pieces.

My guild has sure made a lot of pillow cases for charity. They go mostly to the foster care for the children to carry their new things in.

Delightful cases! You have jogged my memory of making pillowcases a number of years ago for asylum seekers. In fact, I bought fabric for three that I never made as the program seemed to end. Thanks to your post, I just looked up Ryan’s Cases for a collection site in my state. I will see if my fabrics would work.
