I never learned how to Crochet. My Mom made some very beautiful things. But whenever she tried to show me how to crochet, I just did not get it. All that counting and dropping of stitches, etc, etc..... well I just could not do it.
However, my sweet daughter has learned how to crochet, and she's really doing it well. She has made a couple of baby blankets, and is working on a bag. But her most recent design has been making her self some gloves. Well I guess you call them gloves.
I really don't know how she did it, but she designed these herself.
Aren't they cool? She made them so she would have mobility of her fingers.
I guess some people are just smart that way :-)

Very pretty...I really like the colors that she chose and the scalloped edge around the fingers. I've been doing some crocheting the past couple of weeks too. It's fun to do something different every now and then!
I haven't crocheted in years. Her gloves are wonderful and to be able to design her own is amazing!!

Tell your daughter that she has done an execellent job on her gloves....what would it be like to have young looking hands?
They look great! I love how the black edge by her fingers is sort of scalloped.
THese are beautiful! Post your daughter's bag when she's finished--love to see it!
Gorgeous! I love to crochet, and she did a lovely job!

So cool - she can type with them!!!! And she can dig through her purse and "grab" whatever she needs.
I can crochet but don't do it much these days. However, my daughter has FAR SURPASSED my crochet abilities.
Our daughters - they can be our own source of inspiration.
I myself just got back into doing some crochet work. Making dishcloths..once you make and use these..you will never use anything else! Cotton of course!
Also working on a blanket...and scarf.
Try it...you'll get hooked! (hee hee)
Blessings..

Those are so neat! She does beautiful work. I taught myself how to crochet. I think it someone had tried to explain it I never would have gotten it. I'm better if I can just look at pictures and do it.
Oh BRAVO! My mom tried to teach me crochet as well, but she's a leftie and gave up ....I taught myself eventually. I love your daughter's fingerless gloves - and wish I had a pair right now, lol! It's cold in here~
Very cute gloves. Cleaver daughter you have there Jocelyn. My DD would like a pair like that, but luckily we are getting into summer now and she doesn't need one right now - Hugs Natima
A very nice pair of gloves! You did a great job on them. Enjoy crocheting, I sure do!
