Half way = almost done

As I have been going through boxes that were moved from our old home, I am finding little treasures along the way :-)

Finding a quilt that is half finished is almost like savoring the project all over again. You know how it is. You see a pattern you like, find some fabric, and you go for it.

Yesterday I found these pieces from a long forgotten project.

It was a pattern from a magazine that I started several years ago, only to be laid aside and forgotten.

But the really cool thing is -

It's almost done!!!

AND there is enough fabric for borders, and backing too!

So in the next couple of days, I am going to try to sit at my sewing machine and see if I can pull this little quilt together.

So what are you working on today??

Happy Quilting!

What a wonderful find! Isn't it great that our half finished projects can find us again and bring us joy a second time?

I found some half finished blocks over the summer that I am using for my Mom's Christmas gift. Love that!

Nice quilt, I like the design and your blue and white. It shouldn't take you long to get that finished.

Blessings to you my friend, So glad you found your squares; you'll have a top together in no time. I got Eleanor's book today and am going to start cutting this evening. If my top looks half as good as yours I'll be delighted!!!
Have a wonderful evening and thanks again for all your help.
Hugs, Noreen

I'm sure it inspired you to create when you came across your misplaced treasures. Your work is lovely. My aunt is a quilter and when I was young she used to tease me that I would take a break between every couple of stitches. I didn't have the patience for it. Wish she lived nearby because it's something I would truly love to learn to do. Enjoy working on your piece.

I love that quilt! Of course, I'm partial to two-color quilts, particularly blue and white. So tell me, what pattern is that? As I'd LOVE to make that quilt myself!
