Amylouwho is hosting a fun Mini Quilt Challenge for her Sew & Tell blog party. Now I have to admit that making mini quilts is fun, but sometimes I'm not really sure how to use my mini's. I've made mug rugs, and little table toppers before, and I suppose a mini quilt can be used for that purpose as well. What I think would be really cool is to have a wall to display different mini quilts. I absolutely hate to throw away scraps from other quilting projects. So this little mini was born from the snipped away triangles of a Schnibbles pattern I was working on. They were all sitting nice and patiently in a little zippy bag.
So here is my Mini Quilt.
You can judge the size as it sits next to my cup of tea and my cell phone.
I hope you will visit the other creative Mini Quilts posted today.

Sweet. I have some 1/2 triangle left over from another block I made. I might use them to make a mini quilt.
so cute - and such tiny hsts!
How cute! waste not, want not.
that's a lot of tiny half square triangles! very well done. i'd be scared to leave my cup of tea anywhere near it!
That's so cute! I love the colors too! :0)
Oh how adorable! :o)
Cute little quilt! Love the colors and how can't believe the hsts are so small :)
That is adorable! Hope you have a restful weekend!
In one of my homes I did have a wall on which I displayed multiple mini-quilts. Since I've become a machine quilter (and moved to another home) I haven't had a miniquilt wall--but it may be time to do that. It would work in our tv room that so far has only book cases lining the walls.
That is so pretty! Love the soft colors!
Love the mini quilt! :o)
That's a darling quilt, Jocelyn.
Your mini quilt is adorable! It's a wonder me don't make more of these, since they sew up so quickly.
So sweet. I made a mini quilt the other day - a doll's quilt for a little friend of mine. They are addictive!
You mini quilt is wonderful! So sweet...so mini!!! LOL
Love your work...I think the idea of a wall ...possibly along a passage...displaying several mini quilts in a row is fabulous...little works of art...
Warm regards from south africa
sweet and pretty...mini!
My mind kinda went off a bit when you suggested a "mini quilt wall display". I can visualize a wall area with a fairly large nicely framed cork board or "other" substance that several mini quilts could be mounted to (un-permanately). The frame would be one of those wooden/carved professional looking ones that matched the person's furniture and or decor. Every so often, the mini quilts would get changed, maybe to match the season or holiday?

Adorable quilt, I like the colors you chose. Thanks for sharing!
Really neat! Great use for all those snipped-off triangles! Beautiful mini quilt! And, if you get that mini-quilt display worked out, you'll have to share pictures!
LOVE your mini!!!
blanket stitching by hand is fun to play with numerous alphabets. I relax to do same work on paper also. Blanket stitch of yours is pretty.

wow that really is a tiny quilt!
I think we are kindred spirits when it comes to scrap usage! I have a hard time throwing any scraps away and even more I have a hard time letting those color coded scraps mingle with others! I made a few mini tops this week and it really worked out well. Hurray!
Your tiny HST's are amazing! Love them neatly lined up in a mini.
My walls throughout my house are sporting quite a few minis and it's a good thing. They always make me smile.
Thanks for linking up to finish it up Friday!
