# 1. You are committed when making free motion pebbles!
And #2 DON'T catch any of the batting on the back of your quilt :-( It is very hard and time consuming to rip out pebbles!!!
Happy Quilting!!

uh oh.. I've done something like that too, I don't do FMQ on my sewing machine anymore, since I have a long arm, but I've done pot holders and portfolios where I used a walking foot and have either sewn batting or a scrap fabric to the back too. If you had not quilted around this are, you could SKIN the quilt right there... or what about putting your label right on top of it instead?
Yep....done that too! I hate the ripping out. You are dedicated to that many pebbles
Been there, done that, but not with pebbles...UGH!
LOL, that picture says it all!
OMG, I feel your pain. :-)
Oooops. Yes, I've done it too.
Aye yi yi! Not a fun way to spend your time, huh? Whew! :)
Oh No...that does not sound like fun. Those are the times I wish I had used the water soluble thread.

Oh yes, you did learn some valuable info. Yes, pebbles are so time consuming but well worth the effect!!! :-)
aww nooo ... how frustrating - well I hope you had a nice time with your friendly seam ripper ...
Ouch! Not fun at all....so impressed with your pebbles, though - I'm not brave enough to do those yet! LOL
Love your previous post -- and I'm glad I'm not the only one who sees things like that! Heehee!
Oh!!! NO!!!!
I'm very impressed with your pebble design--I know how tedious they are to do! Every time I have to rip out, I'm reminded how human I am:-D
Oh my, yes. I can imagine how frustrating getting that wadding off would have been. Filing this thought for future prevention!
yes they would be hard to take out...I enjoy doing pebbles..
Both very good pearls of wisdom, which I have learned the hard way my ownself! I have also learned to take ibuprofen before beginning . . .
That does look like a time consuming mess to unpick!
Oh that is just awful. I hate it when that happens.
Sorry, I laughed. I couldn't help myself. That picture is priceless in an "ugh" kind of way. I love those pebbles (even though they were a pain to take out!)
I praise you for free motion as I took the class and it was the hardest things I've done. Please join me at www.sewcraftykathy.blogspot.com
