Follow the Yellow Brick Road

Last year I made this quilt for the Joplin project.

I used the Yellow Brick Road pattern, and I loved how it turned out.

Soooooo........... I managed to find a little bit more of the red floral fabric, and added some of my own to start another Yellow Brick Road.

I think this one is going to be just as much fun to make as the first one.

Happy Quilting!

Great quilts, love that pattern. I haven't made one in a while, guess it is time to get one done.

Yellow brick road is one of my favorite patterns, when I first started quilting I used this pattern ALL the time, 6 FQs for a baby quilt, with or without a border, was great!

I really like the look of this beauty. Might just have to add this to my ever growing list. =)

It's beautiful and reminds me of summer, which I personally think is a good thing. :) Isn't it fun when you find a pattern that you like enough to make more than just one time?

Lovely quilt and so sweet that you sent it to Joplin for the tornado victims. I love this pattern and hope to make it again soon.

I loved that you posted about the Yellow Brick Road quilt pattern. I just finished mine yesterday! I love how yours turned out the colors are so pretty!!! I still have to take mine to the long arm quilter for quilting. When its done I will post it. It was a fun pattern, I wasn't sure at first if I was going to like it I used 6 different patterns and colors in mine. But after it was all sewn together I really liked it.
Have a sweet day, Elizabeth

Your fabric choices are excellent and I especially love the blue with the red floral. Reminds me of a garden with the sky all around. Happy Quilting, XOXO
