Some of these prints looked so vintage. I have no way of knowing what time period they are from, but the coarseness of the fabric reminded me of feed sack.I do not have a plan yet, but I did some squaring up, as the blocks were all catty whompis.
Any suggestions? As I do not have any more of the vintage muslin, would you put the squares together without sashings??

Hmmm.... have you thought of vintage muslin sheets as a source for muslin? Of course, white muslin sheets that hadn't been used to shreds might be difficult to find.
*swoon* Those are gorgeous! And yes, they look like feedsack. I agree with the vintage sheet, although I wouldn't hesitate to add reproduction fabric or regular quality muslin. I would probably try to match up one of the colors with a Kona solid for sashings. But if you want to keep it vintage, then by all means, don't use sashing - it will be gorgeous either way!
You've definitely got feedsack prints there, Jocelyn. One of my favorite things to do with vintage 9 patches is to make them the center of a simple Variable Star. Just add the star points to the 4 sides with a block on the corners and voila'! A stunning star quilt!!
Frame them in new, unbleached muslin. Then square them up and make something with them.
catty whompis! Hahaha! I would not sash them, just make a nice picnic blanket or quilt! Fabulous!
I have some from another blogger and I made a table runner and some sewing room mats out of mine.
No ideas but they're gorgeous!
