A trip to the North

Last week I enjoyed spending a few days with my BFF in Ohio.  Over the years we have visited each other about twice a year.  We often work on quilting projects and just enjoy time together.

I will show you what we worked on next time.  But my friend took me to a fabulous restaurant for lunch one day, that I wanted to share with you.

The Pine Tree Barn was a store and a restaurant.

We had to taste their famous Lemon Muffins.

and the view from the veranda.

Although fall was not in full swing in Ohio while I was there, a few colorful trees graced the streets.

Next time I'll share what we worked on.  Christmas projects in the works.

Happy Quilting!

Loved the pictures of the Pine Tree Barn! I live in Ohio and my mother grew up in Shreve Ohio and I still have many relatives in that area. Strangely, I have never eaten at the Pine Tree Barn.

I love visiting my bff in Ca. We don't get sewing time though when I am there, mainly because we are out shopping the local quilt stores. So glad you had a great time; can't wait to see what you made.

I used to live in Wooster, Ohio and every year would go to the Pine Tree Barn to buy our Christmas Tree. Always loved the lemon poppy seed muffins. At one time they also sold beautiful furniture. I have fond memories of it.
