Do you breathe in inspiration when you visit a brick and mortar shop?
Let's do some happy quilting this week.
Today's Promise: For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. |

There's always something that serves to inspire on a visit to a quilt shop - it's like vitamins for quilters!
I definitely find inspiration visiting quilt shops and thoroughly enjoyed seeing your photos. Looks like a great shop. But like you, such visits often inspire me to start new projects vs finish UFO's, or work from my stash. I've found a good win-win for me, for when I do get to go shopping. I try to take some of my stash fabrics, that I think might work in a quilt. And I look for complimentary fabrics that would inspire me to create a project which primarily uses up fabrics in my stash. Sometimes I find fabrics that are simply ok and if I still have UFO's, I'll hold on purchase. But if I find that fabric that makes a wow factor with my stash fabrics I really get inspired and purchase it. And my last visit I saw a sample quilt with a design I liked that I was positive I have enough perfect fabrics in my stash for, so I bought the pattern. Hope to pull out fabrics for it this coming week.
Hope you get plenty of Happy Quilting time in this week too!

A friend and I went to 2 quilt shops today. She'd never been to the first one. I did need some fabric for a purse for my daughter in law (I don't have any pink batiks in my massive fabric collection). I did get some cute, sewing themed fabrics at the 2nd store, that I'd never seen before. I have plans for that fabric, too. Yes, inspiration!
I'm getting inspiration just looking at your pics, lol! I LOVE that flamingo quilt - love love love love love!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
