I thought I would share with you about the rest of my trip to Ohio Amish country.
It first started with a beautiful flight from my beloved Florida.
We visited so many wonderful quilt shops during the week.

I bought a little bit of fabric here,

and there,

along with some notions and patterns.
And even though I was a little late for the season of fall color, I did see some beautiful trees as we drove around.

And some sweet birds that don't visit our area,

And then an incredible sunset flight on the way home

It was a full fun filled week to spend with my BFF.
My favorite picture is one we took in Charm Ohio. This covered bridge is behind Miller's Quilt shop.

Thanks for coming along with me. I hope you enjoyed our little tour.

Looks like it was a WONDERFUL trip!
I love that area. I have been there a half dozen times and have bought some of their beautiful hand crafted furniture. Love the shops in Charm, Millersburg and all those great little towns in the "triangle". So glad you had a good time. It is a beautiful place in all seasons.
Hey I’ve been following your blog for a while now!!! I think that this might be something you would be interested in. Maybe you’d like to participate or just do a little post about it! I’d love to see it be a great book ☺ (P.S. I’m not getting anything for passing the message along!)

They posted on their blog:
I'm very pleased to organize the first-ever Quilter's Cookbook with recipes from quilters around the world. Everyone is welcome to submit a recipe, a photo of their favourite quilt and a story for inclusion in the Cookbook. The submission deadline is November 28, 2009.
The Quilter's Cookbook will be available for sale as a downloadable PDF file in early December 2009. The price will be determined based on the number of recipes submitted and the number of advertising sponsors.
The Cookbook is being created as a fundraising effort to help off-set some of the costs associated with running the Quilting Gallery site and to fund new community-based features planned for 2010. Please help support the community!
The theme for this Cookbook is "Quick and easy recipes, so we can get back to quilting!".

These are great photos and beautiful country. I love the photo of the clouds from the plane. I will never get used to the strange sensation of having the clouds below you instead of above--(sigh). Thanks for sharing and happy Thanksgiving!

What a great trip. I'm so jealous - here in California we really don't get tree colors like that.
