Mega Store

So yesterday my daughter and I make the trek to the mega store of retail. IKEA is just an amazing place. Even if you do not like their style, they certainly have so many ideas.

Kitchens -

Kitchens and bedroom space

And what we went to look at - storage.

We found a few little things, but not the closet storage I had hoped for. So I guess the next stop is the Depot :-)

I love Ikea! We have one not far from my house and I make an excursion there about once a month! I don't always buy something, but it sure is fun to look! Love that white entertainment unit in the last photo!

XOXO,

Cyndi

Ikea is fun. But think how much better they'd do if they had sewing rooms set up as displays! LOL! :)

I'm going to have to hunt one of these stores down. Amazing!

I have been to Ikea one time. Pretty overwhelming but fun.

Ikea is a trip all right! I need to get back over there and check out their storage systems. My friend Carrie designed a sewing studio with their storage units, and it turned out amazing.

I can't cope with IKEA, I either have a panic attack, or spend too much while seeming to save loads on those things you can't pass on, the place is best avoided for me!

My DD took us to Ikea close to DC (well, 45 minutes from her house) when we were visiting there. Love the place, huge! huge! huge! Evidently we have 2 that are semi- close to us, in Austin and Dallas. I have been avoiding them, but may have to succumb after seeing this post!

Oh how I love Ikea - my favorite is to go early and have lunch there too. I could furnish my whole house in Ikea!

I love Ikea, they have so many neat things, it's hard to see everything in one trip. My dear hubby refuses to go with me anymore because he hates the maze. When he wants to go out, he has to find his way out. LOL Good luck finding what you want.

That is one great big huge store. I don't know of one around here. I would enjoy the trip into one. Good luck, and looks like you're busy in a good a prosperous way. Thank you for sharing.
Happy Quilting!

Oh I would love to go there. I wish I could be that organized. I am trying to declutter all the "stuff" now. It is amazing what all we collect.

I love Ikea! Our closest one is 2 hours away and when we go, we make a day of it. The rooms they have set up are full of great ideas. I looked back at the photo of the closest from your new house and you might want to try Costco. They sell closet organizers that are wood like and hang from the walls. We used the Home Depot ones in our closets but they sit on the carpet. I'm wondering if we're going to have to pull them all out when we replace the carpet in the next couple of years.
