Tell me what you think.........

Have you been visiting the Bloggers Quilt Festival?? It's been so much fun to visit new and familiar blogs and see so many creative quilts.

And over the weekend I've been doing a little bit of sewing myself ;-)

I put together the blue and white quilt that I found during our recent move.

I'm going to try to put my hands on the magazine (American Patchwork & Quilting?) with this pattern, as I can't really decide if I would like to make it bigger or just finish it out like this.

And here is the little pink number I was working on based on the pattern in the Quiltmaker magazine.

There were several comments asking about the fabric I used.

All the pink fabric except the stripe was "Inspiration" by Linda Lum DeBono. White is Kona Cotton.

So tell me what you have been working on this weekend??

Have a great day and happy quilting :-)

Both quilts are gorgeous. I have been working on finishing a quilt top for my sister.

Both are beautiful! I would be tempted to make the blue and white larger - it would show the pattern more - it's pretty.
This weekend I started sewing arrowhead blocks together (Thanks!).

I agree with Michelle - both quilts are gorgeous! I've been catching up on my stitching and generally being way too lazy. LOL

Your blue and white quilt is lovely. Good work keep the order straight with those blocks. Looks like ribbons :-) And the pinks and white is wonderful. Nice and girly!
I spent part of the weekend working and then picked up a little fall table topper for some easy embroidery work. today I'm sewing rows of Robyn Pandolph fabric together. Happy Stitching!

Your blue quilt has great movement. The Arrowhead block is wonderful. I worked on sewing some burp cloths for a baby gift today. It's a great scrap user. I'm also working on my black and white project. Hope to get a big chunk of sewing time tomorrow.Take care!

Both of those quilts are wonderful, Jocelyn. I like them both so much I don't know if I like one over the other! And this weekend...I worked on bags for my upcoming Craft Fair. I'll be so glad when that's over!

XOXO,

Cyndi

Oh these are just lovely!!!! They're both stunning, Jocelyn.
I spent all my time browsing the Festival this weekend, and I'm nowhere near done. Such inspiration! I really need to get busy quilting the baby quilt I'm working on, it's due Sunday!

I'm starting to make that same quilt from quiltmaker mag using sashing too!! Lol I've got one block done. I'm using a botany layer cake that I won and am leaving the squares at 10" when I make them. I should have a fairly good sized quilt when I'm done. Yours looks lovely in all pink!

Today I finished making a Mug Rug for my mom. Tried out some free motion quilting on it. You can see it here http://sewingthestressaway.blogspot.com

Personally I would make the blue quilt bigger to show of the pattern.

The pink one is very pretty - soft and feminine.

Those are two beautiful quilts. But I must say...I am partial to the pink. Love the block.

I just love how the white sashing works with those blocks. This pattern really speaks to me more with the shashing. I might have to try it myself.

I like the way the triangles seem to reach across the sashing aisle to each other creating subtle movement. Your layout makes the blocks dance.

Very pretty quilts Jocelyn! Love those fabrics in the pink quilt. Looks like you're feeling well enough now to quilt. Yeah!! I wish I could get back in the sewing room, but I've been working too much lately. Boo Hoo!

LOVE LOVE LOVE that blue quilt! The pink is fabulous too but I am drawn to the blue quilt and the ribbon like movement in it. I would love to have the pattern to that blue quilt if you wouldn't mind sending me the info on the magazine I need to purchase and if you are okay with me copying your work (in another color range). Thank you very much for sharing the great quilt pictures and I have to say I am very glad I follow your blog, you provide me with inspiration galore!
