What inspires you?

As I've been reflecting on almost two years of blogging, there are so many avenues that continue to be sources of inspiration. I LOVE to see the amazing quilting that so many of you share on your blogs.

Quilters like Diane Gaudynski, Wendy Sheppard, and Patsy Thompson who share about their machine quilting techniques.

And then there is Judi Madsen, Mary at Quilt Hollow, and Natalia who are quilting artists!

Does Crazy Mom Quilts and Stephanie make you want to jump up and start a project, right now!

Amazing Hand Quilters like Crispy and Kaaren.

There are also fun blogs that spike up with inspiration. Kelly at I Have A Notion and Madame Samm always bring a smile to my day.

So tell me, what inspires you? Is it fabric? Or quilting. Do Designers give you the juice to go? Or do you grab your cuppa in the morning and read your morning Blogs to get your motor running??

Please be sure to sign up for my giveaway on yesterdays post! I love hearing from each of you.

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving.

There are many, many things that always inspired me. Since I discovered blogs almost five years ago I've been very inspired by many. Recently I've been reflecting on my quilting and looking to make some changes because I've become a big old copycat. :-)

For me, it is the eye candy of it all. I love to see all of the different projects that people are working on and the difference color choices that they make. That always seems to get the creative juices flowing for me!

Happy Thanksgiving and thanks for sharing with us through your blog.

Inspiration comes from everywhere of course, but my working wall kicks my hiney often. Blocks grow there, sit a bit, and then shout at me to 'add this' 'take that away' 'get some green in here'...

Life is good, thanks for sharing yours,
Sharyn

Since I do not sew or attempt to make a quilt, I do not get too inspired. Seeing beautiful quilts and wanting them sets me off.

Thank you for sharing all these wonderful quilters with us-I will check them out. Seeing beautiful quilts inspire me, especially if they are easy, and you inspire me as well. Hugs to you today.

Jocelyn,

I am so touched you included me in that list! You made my day!!!

People that quilt inspire me, especially those who have to contend with physical limitations and yet, they are determined to quilt.

Blogs are always such a wonderful source for inspiration and is often where I find a new designer or a pattern I HAVE to have. Bloggers are great enablers LOL.

Color, mostly. It could be a color anywhere, on anything. It could be the same color, in seventy different shades. But there's just something about a cerulean sky that will smack you in the face with an idea in a breath's moment. Combinations that evoke emotions, memories. A golden wheat yellow combined with an endless blue is summer back home, and that begs for a happy quilt, with rows and rows of bending wheats. A quilt with lots of motion.

Inspiration comes from anywhere, but for me, it usually starts with a single color.

Happy Thanksgiving!

You know, other bloggers are a great inspiration for me, but I also find it in nature. All the colors!

Blogging has opened a whole new world to inspire. I love to see what someone is working on, the colours, the patterns and the fabrics. There are some great productive bloggers out there.
