B is for....................

B is for Burrrr.................

It was so cold that this is what we were greeted with this morning

It was 27 degrees when I got up, and apparently we had a pipe burst :-( We do not usually have this kind of problem in Central Florida.

Hubby and BIL had to turn the water off at the well as the valves would not shut off in the house!

What a way to start the day.

Be sure to sign up for my Sew Mama Sew Giveaway here.

Guess I won't be doing much quilting today. Stay warm :-)

Oh so sorry about that. Be careful on that ice. I still pay for my 'fall' on ice on a daily basis.

Bummer. Could be worse though -- there was a man on the news the other day who was on vacation when his pipe burst. His whole house and front yard was glazed over with ice. The pictures were crazy (kind of pretty though in a horrible feel aweful for the guy way). Or you could wake up in Indiana when it was 0. Just 0. We had no temperature. :) Here comes winter!
Stay warm! Cozy up. Drink some hot cocoa!

Oh gosh! Sorry to hear about this! And I also want to thank you very much for the package you sent me! I am so touched to receive the book and fabrics. Really really made my day and I even posted about it!! Those birdies are darling! Hope the repairs are quick!

Oh, no...sorry to hear that. I hope you can get it repaired quickly and for a reasonable cost. *sigh*

Sorry about this!! That is horrid to wake up too for sure! We have been dripping every night and day with our teen temps too.
UGH!
Winter came early to us here too!
Warm hugs,
Lola

Oh no - that's not good! If it gets that cold again, leave your faucets running with just a little trickle - that might help keep them from freezing up. This is no fun - I hope it warms up for you soon!

Hope your pipe problems are all taken care of! I think Sandie's idea of hot chocolate, warm quilt and a good book is a super suggestion. Take care!

Oh Joceyln, I'm sorry about your pipe problems. And for being so darn cold. Not fun. Watch out for black ice.

Oh how disappointing, I'm sorry about the pipes. We had one cold night here and the past week we've had warmer than usual weather, in the 80's and I'm loving it. Just like spring. I'll send some your way, stay warm.
