Needle a little love?

This past year has been kind of busy, with new work schedules, ailing parents, out of town trips, etc...... so the sewing buddies have not been able to get together on any regular basis for quite a long time.

But it is always good to get together and reconnect, especially around the holidays.

I made these little needle books, as a "just because" gifty for them.

And I've been playing with jewelry beads too.

Cause even a pin cushion needs a little bling every once in a while :-)

Happy Quilting!

OOh, I like the needle books....and I have a tie from a Moda bundle that would work just like you did it! :) What did you use for the little book itself? Is it flannel, or wool? Great idea!

Very cute and I love the beaded pins! Did you use glue or do I see crimp beads?

Cute needle books - and how fun to have a group to get together with! I love the pins, and I really love the ones you sent me, even my son remarked on how lovely they were - they're gracing my pincushion now!

The needle books are such a great idea! The beads really make it almost too pretty to use. Your friends are lucky!

Our group has been making some pretty pins too. They are a lot of fun, and do add a little pretty to pincushions. Yours are lovely.
