It is always fun to find quilt shops when we are traveling. They usually have fresh ideas and lots of inspiration. It's almost like having your own personal Quilt Show :-)
I bought this pattern.
A simple design, yes, but I loved the color combination and use of scraps. Many times the patterns are familiar, but the use of color or fabric makes them unique. Do you buy a pattern because of a sample or quilt that you have seen made up??
Happy Quilting!

I could spend hours looking at quilts and patterns; how do you ever decide? I love the one you chose and can't wait to see how it comes together. Happy quilting dear friend, XOXO
Oh what beautiful quilts! I agree with you on the inspiration found at quilt shops. A lot of work and heart goes into constantly changing displays!
We just returned from vacation and I managed to slip a couple of wuilt shops in also. One was in the Amana's in Iowa and the other two were in Sisters Oregon. Would love to go back to Sisters for their quilt show sometime. I think all quilt shops should have a husband bench and a coffee pot. I think we women would spend more time shopping if that were the case.

And, isn't great when you find a shop that is willing to allow you to photograph! I especially love the one with the snowmen holding hands...
I really like the 6th quilt down. I want to have one like that. =)
Looks like a great shop to visit. To answer your question about buying patterns, I usually buy them if I can't figure the math out myself, or I just want to support the shop/pattern company. Patterns have gotten so expensive!
That basket quilt is fabulous...thanks for the showing.
thanks for sharing. love the quilt with the basket in the middle.
LOVE it - you will enjoy making that quilt! I really like the 3rd one up, the blues and greens. It's the colors - I think I'd love any quilt made in those colors.
Wow, those are gorgeous! Can you tell me where that is? If I travel to FL I'd like to stop there! LOL
Some wonderful inspiration! I always love looking at quilts!
